IUI #2 - CD 17

Last night I had my first dose of my antibiotic; not bad, just annoying - there is a lot of oil in it; which just leaks out all night long.

I don't know if I mentioned or not; but Shaft did not get the job in MS, so we will be staying in Houston for the time being. He has another opportunity coming up in the area, but if he doesn't get that in the spring he will start looking for full-time employment (or something flexible) so that he can continue preaching but make a living as well.

I talked several weeks ago about 2 mice that were in our house one night.  We got rid of them, but now we have one in our garage.  I think I may talk Shaft into working on cleaning up the garage this weekend, and hopefully curbing the issue with mice. I think the weather is supposed to be nice; so it shouldn't be too bad to clean up the place a bit.

Last night was funny - I was changing out of my work clothes and walked by the mirror in the bathroom, I was looking at my belly (which is large anyway) and putting my hand across it. Shaft was watching me and busted out laughing saying that there is no way I'd be showing yet. I laughed at him saying I was just watching my bloat - it's gone down a bit today, but yesterday I was very bloated, and it was noticable in the mirror.

Shaft was asking the dogs if they wanted a baby brother, and Cowboy runs out the room. Apparently he could care less.  I asked them if they wanted a sister, and basically got the same response. Silly dogs.

My friend that I mentioned earlier had an U/S and everything looks good, her progesterone number is low, but hopefully the treatments will do what they need to.  She had another U/S next week, and hopefully they will be able to see the heartbeat.
