IUI #2 - Cycle Day 14

Busy busy busy

I had my U/S yesterday afternoon, it was fairly uneventful; other than I had to press down on my belly in order for her to get my left ovary. She found 3 decent size follicles on that side; one at 19, 17 & then a little one at 13. She found one at either 18 or 19 on the right side as well.

After the U/S she determined that she wanted me to wait just a little bit longer before doing the shot and IUI; give them just a little bit to grow. I gave myself the shot at 9am today; and then tomorrow at 9:30 is the IUI.  I'm sooo excited/nervous. Oh, and my lining was nice and thick; like a 9 something.

Due to some changes at work I am now riding the bus in, instead of driving. It actually isn't that bad, just relax on the way in and I am forced to leave at 6pm b/c I cannot miss the last bus. Going to the Dr is a bit more interesting though; I 'get' to walk to the train, and ride it down to Women's hospital, and then walk over to my Drs office. The walk isn't that far, but it was fairly warm yesterday, and I didn't think to take my water with me (fail on my part).  This of course made me a bit sweaty, and when I got to the Drs office they gave me a couple of min, and then put me on the paper; of course I stick to the paper again... the ultrasonographer just laughed when she came in and I told her I was stuck again

Please pray (or whatever) that tomorrow morning goes well.  Shaft is a wee bit nervous since he apparently doesn't perform well in the AM. He wants to take one of my valium, but I'm afraid that um, it'll relax him a bit too much. He said it wouldn't... anyway, just pray that it goes well. His numbers were great last time, so I'm not concerned about that at all.

Also, a good friend of ours, that I have mentioned in the past, just found out she is pregnant again. She has had a couple of miscarriages, I pray this baby sticks, and 9 months from now they'll have a sweet 'itty baby.
