I have been crazy busy - so let me kinda try to back up and let y'all know what's been going on.
Work - we have moved from cubes to pods; and starting next week my hours will be 8-5 (lunch 12-1), for the past couple of years I have been working 6:30-4:30 M-Th; and then 6:30-10:30 on Fridays. It is really a cluster... and I'm not sure how long we'll be able to take it; but I'm going to hang in there and just put in my time until something else comes along.
Shaft - this past weekend we went to Mississippi for him to try-out for the preaching job; it is fully supporting, which means that if we were to move I shouldn't have to work. We need to do a lot of research on medical insurance; but I think we can swing it. I may also have Shaft contact a family at the church that owns their own business and see what they do regarding insurance, maybe they have a group plan that we could somehow get on (maybe with me working part-time or something).
Trying to have a baby (and the main focus of this blog)... my period started today; which is actually a few days earlier than expected. I contacted the Drs office today about my upcoming U/S and the lady wants to see me tomorrow b/c she will be out of the office on Friday. So I should be starting Clomid later this week; and the IUI will be around the 16th.
My MIL had her gallbladder removed last Wednesday; she stayed in the hospital overnight b/c she lives alone, and the Dr didn't want her alone that first night. She did ok for a few days; and then Monday night went to the ER b/c she was in severe pain, and having a lot of problems. They have done a couple of scopes, and the bypass that was made after removing the gallbladder was too narrow, not allowing fluid to pass thru - they surgically made it larger, and she is doing better now, but they are keeping her overnight. Shaft really wants to go up there; but with the timing of everything with my cycle we will go up on Friday after I get off work. I wasn't really wanting to go out of town so quickly after just getting back from MS, but oh well, she needs us.
