We didn't get to talk long before you left work but I wanted you to know I've been thinking about you a lot since then. It's such hard news to get and I can definitely sympathize with you (although I know it doesn't make it any easier). I also know there's nothing anyone can say to make it better so just know I'm praying for you and that God's still there even though it may not feel He is.

I know the day I got our bad news, I drew a hot bath, got a piece of key lime pie and sat there through a terrible thunderstorm (safe, I know). Do something crazy like that. It will make you feel better.
